The level of corruption in the FDA is remarkable. The level of corruption caused by a system based on Money can only be changed when we outgrow the need for money and transfer to a system based on Resources. We do not need unelected folks or even elected folks dictating laws that order citizens to live contrary to Life. These folks are actually and literally getting away with massive theft of personal liberty and murdering countless people…and it’s all for Money and Profit. Regina, please consider interviewing Jacque Fresco on The Venus Project.

As a UK citizen, I found this interview with Jonathen Emord an endorsement of the complicity between Big Pharma and what is supposed to be the body protecting the U.S. public from unethical well documented gross abuses of these organizations, namely the FDA. We all need to get informed, wake up and say ” Not in our name – you dont”
    Another very informative interview Regina.

We are fortunate to have people like Jonathan Emord going after the FDA.

As a physician myself, I find myself in a difficult position after the Vioxx and Avandia debacles, not to mention the serious concerns around both SSRI antidepressants and second generation antipsychotics.

Big Pharma has a very toxic effect on health care. Their influence artificially overdirects attention towards medications and away from less complex and risky forms of healthcare and they persistently divert attention away from old, cheap, off patent drugs that can be used with a high degree of confidence. Now we have proof of their mendacity in suppressing undesirable drug trial information, and corrupting the processes that regulate their activity, as well as trying to suppress competition by limiting the circulation of information about non drug alternatives.
